I hate to downrate anything from Alegria, my all-time favorite show brand. But these slippers, although warm and sturdy, are not made for those of us with high insteps. They are quite difficult to put on and take off. There have been times I've had to ask my husband to please pull off my slippers! They'd be perfect if they had elastic insets between the sides and top, similar to your Debra and Keli models.
