I am overweight and needed a work-friendly sandal for the summer. My ankles have been swelling, making any shoe with a strap or an enclosed upper uncomfortable by day's end. I tried the Brayah and was pleasantly surprised. They're open toed yet nicely tailored, nice enough for the office. The upper straps are lined with soft leather and are adjustable. The rocker foot bed does not trip me, and somehow manages to be both comfortingly soft to my aching plantar fasciitis yet supportive of my flat feet (ah, child birth and age, thee conspirators). At day's end, my feet just felt...good. I ordered medium width because I'm in between medium and wide. Should have gone with the wide width. If you're in between widths, go up a width. I wear a size 9 (US) / 39 (EU) most of the time, occasionally a size 9.5. I ordered size 9 and they are the correct length, true to size.
