I've been wearing these sandals for a few days now, and I've noticed a couple of issues with them.
Pros :
Overall, they are comfortable and definitely help my aching feet! I have plantar fasciitis, and Alegrias are the only shoes that I can wear. I have concrete floors at work and wooden floors at home, so my feet never get relief. I started wearing Alegrias over ten years ago, and they have been MAGIC. I would highly recommend the brand to anyone who has feet, leg, hip, or back pain from tough floors!
Cons :
Anywhere in the house, you can hear the shoes. They sound squishy and "creak" when I walk
The left shoe is more comfortable than the right. The right shoe is a tad snug on the inside of my right foot and leaves a pink mark when I wear them. A blister will likely form due to this :(
Finally, the arch in the shoe is a bit high and pushes my feet outward. The arch of my foot feels pressure under it when wearing the shoes. It's not super uncomfortable but noticeable -- and may be contributing to the pink mark that has formed on my foot
Having said all of this, I know from previous experience that usually the discomfort subsides after the first few days/week or wearing the shoe -- as it forms to the shape of each individual foot
