I have Hallux Rigidus in both feet. Have had a cheilectomy on the left, have one pending for the right. I didn’t go for a full fusion because I wanted to preserve joint motion and the current look of my feet (fusion shortens the big toes). Algeria are the ONLY sandals that don’t cause me pain. With this condition, is it imperative that you have a forefoot rocker bottom with a rigid sole. As well as a good, thick and cushioned footbed. Algeria has it all. The adjustable straps are a huge bonus as well. This style is very cute! Got the luggage color but would love to get a pair of the black ones too. This particular style runs true to size, but I noticed with some of their other styles I need to go down a half size. I appreciate the much bigger selection and the dive into some cuter styles that Algeria has been taking these last couple years. I hope they keep it up!
