Not for high insteps!

These are cute but definitely not for those with a high instep. I'm so sad, because I really like the shoe, but I made the mistake of bringing them on a trip and wore them. By the end of the day, the top of my instep was hurting terribly. My fault for not trying them for a longer period before my trip. I love Alegria shoes and have many pair of them. Unfortunately, not these.

I like the style of this sandal, but they are cut wide. I have a medium width foot so when my feet swell up, it actually helps. However, if you have narrow feet, this style may not work for you. The sandal is comfortable but I gave it 4 stars because the insole material and the sole of the shoe are slippery.
