Belle Upgrade Black Shoe

This is my 5th pair of Algeria’s all in a Mary Jane and 3 of them were amazing the last two have a horrible squeak from day one I walk a lot for my job and everyone knows when I’m coming because you can hear me a mile away I was hoping the sound would go away but it’s been two months and nope still here (my husband makes me take off my shoes the second I walk in the house because the sound drives him crazy)

Very well made, look great on, my feet love them. Perfect for my healing broken metatarsal, doctor approved! Fine leather work.

I like wearing something different that you do not see everyone else wearing, plus the compliments on my shoe.

Classy look. Great feel. A little big in the heels. You may need to get a heel pad.

The uppers are so hard and unyielding. Really uncomfortable.

I have always worn a 38 but didn’t realize it was US 8 to 8.5. It is too large for a thin sock but the Mary Jane strap makes it possible to wear. It’s my first pair of Alegria recommended by my orthopedist and I love the style and the feel and the fact that it’s well-made.

Good shoe overall. Hope I can somehow get them to stop squeaking.

I've worn Alegria shoes before so I pretty much knew what to expect and these Mary Jane's did not disappoint. I especially liked the embossed design on the shoe which gives them a "dress-up" effect if I want one.

I love these. True to size and easy to break in. I prefer these over other styles because of the shorter platform.

Haven’t had time to wear them often, yet. I’m used to the microfiber version that’s been discontinued, and which I wear daily, so Bella feel very stiff comparatively. Each has it’s own purposes.

Comfortable, durable and well worth the money. And they are pretty as well.

I have more than several styles and colors of Alegria shoes and I covet them all! Not only are they stylish and unbelievably comfortable but I always receive compliments every time I wear them and I’m always passing along info of where to purchase.

I love my shoes!

This is my first time buying Alegria shoes and Iʻm enjoying my purchase so far! When I first put them on, the toe did seem really square (I initially thought of Kingdom Hearts shoes) but they donʻt seem that large now. They are incredibly comfortable and I donʻt fear walking long distances or over uneven ground with them. I do use no show socks with them after noticing some uncomfortable friction on the upper part of my foot but I suspect thatʻll go away after a few more uses. Theyʻre exactly what I wanted for a shoe that I wear to work!

This is a very well-made shoe and helps with my heel plain. It is also stylish and I received many compliments. For this style the size 37 fit my 7.5 size.

The leather was very stiff and uncomfortable to wear. Returned them.

As I always say, you cannot beat the Belle for comfort. This is also an attractive shoe. If I buy anymore Belle’s, I’ll have to get a job. Their worth it!

Half size too large for my foot but can do because of the Velcro straps.
The bulky frame of the shoe makes me feel like Minnie Mouse. In clodhoppers. Haha. That’s the price of comfort.

You just can’t beat the Belle shoe for style and comfort. They are classic and never go out of style. I wish you would make the “Painters” design again. I received so many compliments on it - it was so colorful - I wore it till the sole started to come off. Thank you for the Belle😊

Wear right out of the box, no socks, amazing. Lower Profile is nice, I hiked the Camino in Spain for a day in these. Wear 4 days a week on hard cement floors and the shoes deliver. Enjoy you will not be disappointed.

I've struggled with plantar fasciitis for over a year. These shoes have helped with the pain tremendously!

The lower heel is positive. The strap closing on the inside of the foot is easier for me. I so wish this shoe was made in more colors than black.

I had been having trouble with another style - the Velcro, which unzipped from the outside of the shoe, just didn't work. I had it replaced twice by a shoemaker, but it tended to snap open at very inopportune times, like whenever it happened. The Velcro on the Belle unzips from the inside of the shoe and doesn't seem to get the stress - very solid and comfortable. I particularly like the wide toe bed and so does my orthopedist! Plus I think they look good.
