I’m a caregiver in a assisted living on my feet 12 hours. My legs were hurting so bad they were keeping me awake at night and I could not get any sleep. I tried these and 2 other nurses shoes from different companies recently and I like these the best.
I’ve always had Mary Jane versions. With a change in uniform, I bought this style. The 7-7.5 are snug around the top of my foot. I am between a 7.5-8 and the 8-8.5 would have been way too big. More options for size would be nice since the shoes are so expensive. For this price, you should be able to get the exact size you need. I find wearing a thin nylon socks works with this shoe and feels much better than with a thicker ankle sock.
I’m looking for some new colors in the Debra. I have so many of the Debra and I’m needing some different colors.
Comfortable and premium product
Overall the shoe is fine. The color was a bit off from the pictures, but I am adjusting. I don't dislike them enough to return. Fit is good and overall it is a cute pattern.
I absolutely can not function without my Algeria’s. Seriously they are the difference between back pain at the end of my day and no back pain.
I love the Debra line and this color was super cute. (I also have the ovals pair). Comfortable out of the box. I wore them them out for a date the night I got them.

I love these shoes! I ordered the wide and probably could have worn the regular. Plenty of room at the toe box. Very comfortable and lightweight, the soles are perfect and helps with my plantar fasciitis. I wore Dansko’s before but these shoes are EVERYTHING and are now my favorite work shoes.
I was skeptical because I have bought many shoes and none get me through my 12 plus hour shifts like these!!! I will definitely be buying another pair.
The Debra has been my favorite since the first pair I bought in 2012. I love them and the rocker bottom. So all the ones I buy have the rocker bottom. These shoes are all I wear. Glad to see you have flats now. Gonna try a pair when they go on sale.
Someone gave me a pair about a year ago and I started wearing them to work and my back and my feet haven't hurt since. I just bought another parent because they are the best nursing shoes I've ever worn. Thank you
Love these, I have to break them in with shoe stretchers. Even though I purchase wide, but they do break in and fit perfect, no issues, I wear all day. This style, Debra, gives me the wide platform thst keeps me from rolling my ankle, feels very steady.
I have severely crooked toes, bad arches, etc. ALEGRIA r the only shoe I can walk in n not afraid to fall, as my balance is off. All day comfort. This style first time purchased, n were too tight for my toes, so I donated. This time purchased WIDE, fabulous. Boxy toe box. I refer Allergia to all ages of ladies, as being comfy after all these yrs has been delightful.
Nice these are my fourth pair of Alegria but I love the Skull look though i have 3 more to pair too get i just love these Shoes Great for Comfort
Debra Black Nappa Shoe
I have worn Debra shoes for years mainly bought at my local shoe shop. But I thought why not and bought this pair in two sizes online. One my regular size and a size bigger because the regular size didn’t fit. They were both too small and the color was not like the picture. I’m not sure I’m going to buy this style again. I am not able to return them as they were final sale priced.
I want to love these shoes so much, but the sizing is so off with almost all of them I have tried. I am a 11.5 wide. The 11.5-12 size for this brand so too small, the 13 is too big. And having to pay $30-$50 to return is just crazy. Who doesn't have free returns anymore?! Oh, this brand. So disappointing.
Shoes are cute and will be fine for purpose I bought them for. Just need to stretch them out a bit.
I have always ordered size 39 wide in the Deb collection for my work as a nurse.
The black embossed rose shoe was same style (Deb) and was too small. Disappointed in size difference and having to pay $27 to ship them back. Won’t try another pair, too risky/expensive
Debra runs small. I sized up 1 size and bought wide, which fits perfectly. Pattern on shoe is pretty and will go with almost anything.
I'm a hairstylist and stand for many hours. This shoes gives great feet and body support. I do recommend if you do stand for many hours. Shoes does runs big.
These shoes are my second pain of Debra’s. They are smaller than the other pair I gave. I’m hoping to break them in. Not too happy with the fact that when I received the shoes it was stamped final sale on the invoice even though it was stated no where online when I placed the order. I won’t be ordering from Alegria again.
I ordered the same size in 2 different style of Alegria shoe and the Savvie Black Professional shoe fits great but this Debra Sugar Skulls shoe is so tight that I can't wear socks with them ...and of course, they are non-returnable. I really like the sturdiness of this style because I can stand for a 10 hour shift at work without foot pain but these are so tight, I can only wear them for my 6 hour shifts.
The shoes I bought need to be wide, so I am going to return them and buy a wide shoe.
